Catering Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all catering operations for events, corporate clients, and VIP functions.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, accurate execution, and high customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee event logistics including menus, staffing, equipment, setup, service flow, and breakdown.

  • Manage catering teams before, during, and after events to ensure smooth operations and service excellence.

  • Coordinate with kitchen, procurement, logistics, and service teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

  • Conduct site visits and event briefings to assess requirements and anticipate operational needs.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and local regulations during all catering activities.

  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure events are delivered within approved financial parameters.

  • Handle client feedback, resolve issues professionally, and maintain long-term client relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proven experience.

  • Strong understanding of event operations, large-scale catering, and service standards.

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.

  • Strong client-facing and communication abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and operational compliance.

  • Budget management and cost-control experience is required.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
